This is since the attacks started on Tuesday. Let it sink in. Via Al Jazeera.

It will be a good day when Israel and Palestine put away their hatred, like the British and Irish did…

You know what the sad, inconvenient truth about Comics is? There are amazing comics that are cancelled because people don’t ever tread off the beaten path of Batman, Superman, Spider-Man, etc. And you know what? This sucks. Every single comic is somebody’s favorite, and it really sucks that people may not get to chance to read the stories they want because they couldn’t get enough people on the bandwagon. So, I’m going to try highlighting upcoming and current Marvel comics in the hopes that some of you might actually become interested enough to give these comics a try and possibly support them. This time, we’re talking about my new favorite Marvel Super Hero Team, the New Warriors.
Now, this is a team that’s already near to my heart, even though this is the first exposure I’ve ever had to any New Warriors team whatsoever. But, if you know me, you’ve probably heard me rave at some point about how Christopher Yost’s Scarlet Spider is probably the best ongoing comic I’ve ever read until it was cancelled. So, imagine my surprise when I heard about The All-New New Warriors series coming out, written by Chris Yost himself, with Scarlet Spider actually being one of the members of the team! Somewhere, somehow, someone at Marvel must have heard my prayers, because this was a dream come true.
But something came up recently that has sort of called me into action. I was chatting with the owner of my Local Comic Shop, and it came up in conversation that I’m their only customer that orders this book. They literally get two of these in every month, and both go straight to my box. And the comic shop I go to is by NO means a small one. It has its own corner shop in the mall, right next to the entrance, and it gets pretty decent traffic compared to other comic shops I’ve been to. So the knowledge that I was the only one actually buying this book from them was shocking… And more than a tiny bit terrifying.

They only get in two copies of this? That is stunning and really sad. No comic shop should order only enough of a book for the person who preorders it, how are new readers supposed to start picking it up? Well I salute you for picking up this book and for spreading the word.
People, I talk a lot on here about how important this series is and how close it is to cancellation, and this is another warning sign. If you have been thinking of picking it up but haven’t yet, then this is your last chance, this is your call to step up, go pick up those New Warriors before its too late.

I always feel bad that I trade wait because of things like this. I pre-order as many trades as I can and do so early on, but they rarely help matters.

Hey at least you preorder, Superior Foes got extended and was saved so far because of the large preorders for its first trade so it does some good.
